Just got this installed last week. The speakers have a clean little trim for easy mounting in a drywall ceiling. The templates provided are precise following this easy to use. Took about ten minutes each to install. I spent enormously more time running theo- wires by way of my attic, but i obviously cannot blame that on theo- speakers. Now that they are installed, each i can say is wow. The well is crisp following this clear. The aimable tweeters gives you a lot more adjustability in your mounting location. As with any speaker, well is a matter of secluded preference. I have noticed that these speakers look like to seize people that are a little older (like mid 30’s following this up) more than theo- younger crowd. I mistrust it is since theo- younger ears can hear theo- higher frequencies better. I have without exception enjoyed theo- crisp highs that i have gotten from Polk Audio RC80i. Once anew they have been able to seize me.

I did not purchase the one Sony STR-DH710 7.1-channel fence from amazon.com as i saved $13 online at wally world, even with paying sales tax and getting upgraded delivery to my home. Sorry, amazon.com. All that aside, the one is a bravo fence because of the price. I wanted an hdmi fence to go along with the samsung bd-c6500 blu-ray player i lately bought here so i could decode the hd audio tracks on avatar and other blu-ray discs i have. There is no sirius xm, the display is fluorescent, the speaker connections are mostly the spring type, and there is only 1 rca digital and 2 optical inputs (tv and other), but why pay $100 or more because of those features? The arrangement was extremely facile as i have two other sony a/v receivers. However, i can see why some buyers will be frustrated with the arrangement. What took me about 20 minutes will take about an hour or so because of the neophyte to sony a/v receivers. There is one tip i would like to pass along: to be able to decode the hd audio formats from your blu-ray discs be sure to set the output in the hdmi section of the amp menu to “amp” and not to “amp tv” which is the default. Unless you have a tv that has a surround system built in, the one is the only way you can get the hd audio formats. Otherwise, you will only get lpcm decoding.

Bought this on replace an 11 year old 5.1 nakamichi. The area around plus digital output using all hdmi produces thunderous bass plus crystal sunny highs. My mom was watching angels plus demons on blu ray last night plus 700 watts of theo- exploding volkswagen made theo- walls resonate plus she jumped out of her chair! Unit is ‘expensive’ looking plus theo- gui seems pretty decent so far. Still have not programmed theo- fm stations yet, but thus far for cd Sony STR-DN1000 Receiver, fios cable, dvd plus blu ray this thing is an unbeatable outcome for under $300. One note for users of hdmi: you may experience a delay in signal between theo- movement of theo- actors lips plus theo- actual vocal unimpaired produced from theo- liquidator. This is easily fixed via theo- audio control menu a/v m/s delay settings. I set mine at 200 plus theo- lip movement-to-sound-sync is now perfect.the sony str-dn1000 7.1-channel audio video receiver (black)is a awesome sight on look at for sure, but even novice audiophiles understand that you don’t purchase a liquidator because she looks better than your old girl. You purchase a liquidator b/c you want on know if she can perform well at all task. Well, let me tell you…she can, this liquidator is well equipped plus performs very well.
