Coming from an “old” 720p Panasonic plasma tv’s, I had high desires this TV along with boy did it produce. Action scenes have become fluid, the colors tend to be crisp, HD sports broadcasts are a crisp and clear. The internet apps are pretty neat, especially the twitter application which overlays the actual broadcasts you are observing so you can tweet with out missing the action. Your bluetooth remote is incredibly convenient, however the not enough lighting on the remote makes it difficult to type in the dark. It is very light weight and very easy to setup with an easy to follow setup guide as well as on display instructions to get you proceeding. I bought this generally for 3D gambling and it does not dissatisfy! Super Stardust HD in 3D is the perfect game to showcase 3D gaming. The glasses are comfortable, easy to use, but expensive. I’m hoping the values drop soon while I’d love to have progressed to watch ESPN 3D.
I will be very satisfied with this particular TV, but there are a few areas where it fails to deliver. The best audio out there method available on the television is via Optical out there. This means DTS-MA is a zero go. I really would like Vizio had added an HDMI audio move through on this TV. Monitor glare is an issue with this Tv set; you don’t get the best photo unless the lights are behind the TV as well VIZIO XVT3D424SV as completely off. The TV has 3 Universal serial bus ports, but you can’t use them. It would have been great if this TV had some sort of DLNA or picture/music/video viewer to allow you to stream movies or even plug in a Universal serial bus drive to show your media. Hopefully the firmware update fixes which, but I’m not possessing my breath.
General I’m glad with this particular purchase. If Vizio would have fixed the glare concern and added High-definition multimedia interface audio out, this would be *the* perfect TV.

I’ve had this particular TV for a week now and for the most part it’s been great. I oftentimes tried this TV to exchange a 2 year old Check out the LCD 46″ 1080p that we are moving to the gameroom.
To start with, the picture is excellent. Their like getting High definition for the first time again. The particular default settings had been ok but much too bright in my opinion. After dialing the backlight lower and configuring your motion plus, it looks like I’m watching through a window.
Perfect for gaming! I’ve invested about 20 a long time or so online (Negative Co. 2 & Call of duty Black ops) and still have noticed zero be from the TV. Set it up to gaming mode and tweak your black levels and you’re simply good to go. I couldn’t be more impressed with the image or speed.
Mobile phone . the bad….
I have Three hardwired Xbox’s and 2 wi-fi. I also have A single hardwired PC and also 1 wireless. My partner and i run 2 android mobile phone phones and a system printer all through A single router at my home. My network has been stable for years with no problems hooking up, streaming, or downloading. When I tried to operate the network setup, the tv finds your network but can’t connect. I manage the setup again and it connects and definitely will lose connection following about a 10 second period. It’s been any nightmare trying to get it to stay connected. I am already considering ditching the wireless and falling a Cat6 cable exclusively for the tv.
The Software fall into the bad category as well. For those of you who will be wanting to ditch cable television for internet television set, DON’T. The applications are all free nevertheless, you will have to register and also pay for the content that you would like to watch. Also, the net browser is laughable. When it decides to work, the particular cursor never stops leaping around on the page your viewing and yes it locks up A couple of out of every 3 times I personally use it. I looked for third party apps hoping finding a better web browser but there are none out there.
Other mentionables….
The particular stand is very sturdy and looks fantastic.
Others reviewers grumble about the HDMI inputs on the side being an problem but they are really not. The tv screen includes a cable clip that you can mount onto the back and manage the wires through first, hiding them in the process. This is not a concern at all.
The distant is great but difficult to use in the dark. It has a light on it but it only keeps on for a next, not long enough to function. If you can’t see the rural you’re going to have to turn on a light to read it.
My set would not come with 3d glasses so I’m ready to get those Samsung UN46D7000 right now. Samsung just introduced they will be shipping Two pair with each collection after May One and they are dropping the price for each pair to be able to $50.00us on May 1st for those of us who failed to get them included. I’ll order mine in those days.
All in all, The tv will just what I bought it for. I have computer systems and 360’s for the internet so the bad wireless and apps are not a large issue for me. It’s good for gaming and definately will blow you away on Blu-Ray. Also turned off the D7000 seems to be very impressive. I’m going to try and hardwire the set as well as hopefully will get far better results with the “Smart” area of the tv.

I bought this to get a basement theater right after significant research and also side-by-side evaluation in stores. Recently i bought a 47″ 240HZ LG TV for my family area and am very happy with the quality of the image, lack of a glare via my windows (the huge negative with all the highly reflective Check out the screen) and the reality I don’t see the television set struggling to give myself the clear image when watching a sporting occasion. I hung your the 55″ in place of my own 47″ to test it out before putting it inside the basement and tried it to watch the NCAA Finals. The photo is big, but there is a marked improvement between the ability on this TV to draw the photo and my 47″. The actual 55″ noticably messes upward, or pixilates every now and then. It is not a show stopper, or a reason to hate the LG 55LW5600 TV, but it is noticeable and I can’t support but think the particular 120Hz for the 55″ television will be the problem. I tried your 3d conversion also it does add some great depth. I like it. I plan to check it out with some real Three dimensional content to see if it really is impressive.
I am connected to the Internet and experimented with use the browser to look at an episode of Citadel from the ABC site. The site told me for you to update my variation of Flash and that i have no idea how to make this happen since I don’t know the actual operating system. It would be nice if I could use the idea to watch online symptoms without going through one of several pay services (Video on demand).
I’m happy with the tv screen, but I think it might be wise to hold off for a 240Hz model if you can wait/afford it.
