This step is a great idea for those who put their skis/snowboards on the roof of the SUV. We used to stand on the tire itself or on the 2nd row seats but decided there had to be a better way. This step is easy to adjust and feels very stable. Now we don’t have to do the gymnastics any more.
Now the bad news. We used thule 232 step up at the house to load up, at the slopes to unload and to reload and then at home again to unload. A weld on one of the buckles broke making the step unusable. The unit is riveted together so there is no way to replace just the broken part. Thule has a good warranty and Amazon has provided great support. Amazon is sending out a replacement. Hopefully the new one won’t develop the same problem.

My first inclination when my fiance said he wanted a nice rice cooker with fuzzy logic like this was to ask, “what the heck does anyone need with a $90 rice cooker?!”Well, having this has really changed my mind. The rice is perfect. Every time. Got some stuff to add in to the rice? Fine, dump it in at the beginning. The cooker still cooks it perfectly. Spanish rice? No problem. Just put a can of V8, some salsa, and some butter in, fill to the line with water the rest of the way, and press ’start.’ Rice to go with Indonesian, Thai, or Indian food? Put in some Turmeric and Coriander and there it is, fragrant and inviting. Brown rice, long grain, jasmine or basmati, it figures out exactly what to do. It also steams vegetables and other things. It does all the thinking for you about how long to cook Panasonic SR-DE102 5-Cup. Oh yes, and cleanup? A snap. If you just cook rice, just rinse out the bowl. It’s got a really nice, high-quality teflon bowl so the scraps come out like *that*. Cooked something more complicated? The bowl is also top-shelf dishwasher safe. So easy.Perfect rice, every time. I love my new rice cooker.

I have plantar fasciitis. No sandals I have found were ever comfortable. I usually wear wool socks for the extra heel padding and shoe inserts. But I wanted a summer sandal for the beach. I also have an injury to my big toe and am always embarrased by flip flop type shoes which also kill my heels. Well Bali is amazing! KEEN Bali Sandal covers the top of 3-4 toes to protect against scrapes and bumps. I tried walking on the sidewalk scraping where my big toe would normally be but the toe bumper took all the impact. I also wear these into the shower at the gym and wear them around the house as slippers. They are just so comfortable! If I didn’t live in new england I would wear these outside in the winter lol. They are not like regular sandals they have cushioning and are so comfy. They also dry super fast!
